Curious Anonymous Stories – Part 2

February 7, 2010

An acupuncture figurine that I purchased in China became a surprisingly emotive character in an “anonymous story” inspired by “Cabinets of Curiosities” by Patrick Mauriés (see “Curious Anonymous Stores – Part 1”).

Randomly placed on a shelf with available light and shot with a hand-held camera, the setup couldn’t have been simpler.  The images, however, convey something disturbing, scientific or even miraculous – and are, seemingly, of a grander scale.

Interesting. The figure looks like an adult body, with a hand of a child (see 5th photo). Weird
