I directed and produced this footage-driven show open and tease as part of a complete launch package for MTV’s "It’s On With Alexa Chung", a talk and variety show that aired live daily from NYC. The concept was to present the host, in her stateside TV debut, as a modern-day Mary Tyler Moore in the big new city.
The footage featuring Alexa was shot at locations throughout New York City. The Williamsburg Bridge section of the open was intentionally left long and relatively empty to allow the show's producers to insert daily guest teases. MTV website and banner imagery & graphics were also derived from the footage.
